The Tipsy Fox Pub & Grill is looking for a motivated, hands-on Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help lead our team and deliver an outstanding guest experience. As an AGM, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, develop team members, maintain high operational standards, and drive sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations.
- Lead and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
- Manage staff scheduling, labor costs, and daily staffing levels.
- Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost controls.
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and service standards are consistently followed.
- Coach and develop team members through ongoing feedback and performance management.
- Assist in achieving sales, profitability, and operational goals.
- Handle opening, closing, cash management, and end-of-day reporting.
- Step into the General Manager's role when required.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of restaurant management or leadership experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience with POS systems (Toast experience is an asset).
- Smart Serve Certification (required in Ontario).
- Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
