We’re looking for a licensed Journeyman Electrician with residential solar experience to join our growing solar operations team. If you know your way around service panels, micro-generation installs, and clean, code-compliant work, keep reading.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing and commissioning residential solar PV systems
- Main panel upgrades, sub-panels, breakers, and tie-ins
- Working with micro-inverters, optimizers, and AC/DC wiring
- Ensuring all work meets CEC, utility, and municipal requirements
- Coordinating with installers, project managers, and inspectors
- Troubleshooting and resolving electrical deficiencies when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Journeyman Electrician ticket (required)
- Hands-on residential solar experience (required)
- Strong understanding of micro-generation systems and net-metering
- Comfortable working on rooftops and electrical panels
- Clean, organized, and professional work habits
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have (but not required)
- Experience with APsystems, Enphase, or SolarEdge
- Service upgrade and troubleshooting experience
- Prior inspection or commissioning experience
