Join our team at one of the Maritimes most beautiful beach front campground's as our Guest Services Representative, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face and helpful voice that welcomes visitors, manages guest inquiries, and ensures smooth operations at the front desk. Your energy and professionalism will set the tone for a welcoming environment, making every guest feel valued and cared for from check-in to check-out. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression that embodies our standards
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently using telephone and front desk software
- Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints with professionalism, ensuring swift resolutions that exceed expectations
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details while adhering to policies
- Assist with audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions and ensure financial/merchandise accuracy
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management provide guest needs promptly
- Provide information about campground amenities, local attractions, and services in multiple languages as needed to accommodate diverse guests
- Prepare items such as slushies and hot dogs for guests
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service within the hospitality or customer service industry
- Bilingual proficiency (French/English) to communicate effectively with guests
- Comfortability with computers and phone systems is highly desirable
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage confidently with guests and team members
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a positive attitude while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in resort or hotel settings is preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
This is a seasonal position that runs from May-September. We're looking to hire multiple candidates. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
