About the Opportunity
Rainbow Greenhouses is hiring an Area Lead Support to assist our merchandising teams at Walmart locations throughout the busy spring season and beyond. This position adapts to both seasonal and daily demands, stepping in when merchandisers are unavailable, assisting Area Leads during peak workloads and vacations, and personally merchandising a small set of home stores year-round to ensure quality, consistency, and visual excellence.
During the spring season, this role can become full-time due to increased product volume and store needs. Outside of spring, hours transition to a lighter, steady weekly rhythm averaging a minimum of 12 hours per week. Success in this position requires strong communication, dependable follow-through, and comfort working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
What You'll Do

Cover Walmart store visits when team members are sick or unavailable

Support Area Leads during vacations and peak workload periods

Resolve store-level issues quickly and professionally

Merchandise and care for plants in assigned home stores

Organize and maintain displays to meet company standards

Communicate updates and feedback to Area Leads and leadership

Travel between multiple store locations as needed (mileage reimbursed)

Maintain a flexible schedule that adapts to shifting priorities

Carry a phone for timely communication (monthly phone stipend provided)

Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable with changing schedules

Physically capable of lifting, moving product, and completing store visits

Experience in merchandising or retail is an asset

Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle required
Compensation and Perks

Mileage reimbursement: $0.38 per kilometer
