Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs, and fostering a love for learning. This role requires strong communication skills, classroom experience, and a genuine commitment to early childhood education. Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly valued, especially for working with diverse populations, including children with disabilities or special needs. The successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of our young learners and supporting their growth both academically and socially.

Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
- Maintain detailed records of children's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and working closely with specialists when necessary.
- Utilize computer skills for documentation, lesson planning, and communication purposes.
- Manage classroom organization efficiently, including time management and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities by guiding assistant staff or interns when applicable.
Skills
- Experience working with children in early childhood education settings; classroom experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of childcare principles, early childhood development, and special education practices.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs.
- Bilingual capabilities enhance the ability to serve diverse communities.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Leadership qualities to guide classroom activities and support team collaboration.
- Writing skills for documentation, reports, and parent communication.
- Computer operation skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and communication tools.
