Job description:
Our ITAD division provides Canadians with a one stop recycling service for end-of-life IT equipment. We are looking for a computer technician. In this role you will refurbish and optimize used assets.
- Receive and triage inventory
- Participate in onsite pickups and deliveries
- Prep equipment for shipping
- Inspect and audit computers and categorize appropriately for resale potential.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware related problems and configure, upgrade all software and hardware requirements.
- Complete hard drive wiping and secure data destruction as desired by customers.
- Input required data into ERP system and/or excel
- Ensure to complete all customer requirements in a timely and secure manner.
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to complete customer requirements to the fullest.
- Background in computer hardware is required, software is an asset
- Quick learner, self-starter
- Strong communication skills both written and oral.
