JEM Cleaning is a growing residential cleaning company serving homeowners in Ontario. We are hiring a dependable and confident Customer Care & Booking Specialist to support our customers during peak season and manage evening and weekend operations year-round.
This role combines customer service, scheduling, follow-up, and consultative sales.
Schedule Overview
This position has two phases:
Peak Season (March–May)
- Increased daytime hours available
- Outbound booking calls to existing customers
- Higher call volume and sales activity
Remainder of Year (June–February)
- Primarily evenings (after 4:30 PM Eastern Time)
- Weekend availability required
- Inbound calls, follow-ups, booking adjustments, review requests
Part-time to start, with additional hours available during busy season. Strong performers may be considered for expanded hours or full-time.
Alberta or BC applicants preferred due to time zone alignment.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Answering incoming customer calls
- Booking and rescheduling window, eaves, and exterior cleaning services
- Calling existing customers to schedule seasonal services
- Confidently recommending and closing additional services
- Handling customer concerns calmly and professionally
- Following up after each completed cleaning
- Requesting customer reviews
- Accurately entering jobs into our system
You will be responsible for maintaining professionalism and smooth operations when the main office is unavailable.
Compensation
- $18 per hour
- Performance bonuses paid per completed booking
- Additional bonuses for completed July & August services
Typical total earnings:
- Peak season: approximately $22–$30/hour
- Off-peak: approximately $20–$25/hour
Bonuses are paid on completed services only.
