Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to play a pivotal role in the commissioning and long-term success of our client’s brand-new manufacturing facility in Tillsonburg, ON! This position prioritizes PLC programming, automation diagnostics, and system reliability. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with other departments to deliver technical expertise to production teams while ensuring strict adherence to all health and safety protocols.

- Job Type: Full-time, permanent.
- Shift Structure: Day shift, Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays may be required).
- Compensation: $39.07/hr - $41.22/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary specialist for all site automation, ensuring seamless integration and operation of complex systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the stability and uptime of manufacturing equipment.
- Execute a mix of high-level repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance across electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and thermal systems.
- Read and interpret sophisticated technical drawings, schematics, and prints to ensure precision in all work.
- Conduct regular safety and operational audits of machinery and building infrastructure to identify potential issues before they arise.
- Collaborate with supervisors to build, monitor, and optimize the facility’s long-term preventive maintenance plan.
- Partner with other trades and external contractors to deliver large-scale installations and facility upgrades.
- · Work closely with management to plan and execute efficient machine shutdowns, minimizing production impact.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Industrial Electrician (442A) and/or Construction and Maintenance (309A) license.
- Must have atleast 2-5 years of direct experience within a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Must have completed an apprenticeship within an Electrical Trade.
- Must have strong knowledge of automated industrial machinery and equipment.
- Must have direct and proven experience with PLC programming.
- Must have a strong understanding of the CEC (Canadian Electrical Code) and OEC (Ontario Electrical Code)
Desired Skills:
- Siemens TIA portal experience is a major asset
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
