We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and common areas, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change linens, make beds, and restock amenities as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, stairwells, and other common areas within the hotel.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is beneficial.
- Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- A background in custodial or industrial cleaning will be considered an asset.
