G-Force Security is seeking a reliable and professional Emergency Alarm Responder to join our team in Peterborough, Ontario. In this role, you will respond promptly to alarm activations, assess situations, investigate security concerns, and help ensure the safety of people and property. The ideal candidate is dependable, calm under pressure, and committed to providing fast, effective emergency response while delivering exceptional service.
Duties:
- Respond promptly to alarm activations and emergency calls at assigned sites.
- Assess situations upon arrival and take appropriate action to ensure safety and security.
- Coordinate with emergency services, site personnel, and management when required.
- Investigate alarm activations and security incidents, documenting findings accurately.
- Monitor and report potential safety hazards, security concerns, or system malfunctions.
- Complete detailed incident reports, activity logs, and required documentation.
- Follow established safety, emergency response, and security procedures at all times.
- Maintain a professional and calm presence during emergencies and high-pressure situations.
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License (required).
- Valid Full G Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract (required).
- Full availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification is an asset.
- Previous experience in alarm response, security, or emergency response is an asset.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions during emergencies.
- Strong knowledge of emergency response procedures and the ability to work independently.
