Weaving Baskets Group is a Cornwall, Ontario based Commercial Real Estate
Management and Financial Services company with operating footprints across Cornwall and the South Glengarry district and is looking for an experienced leader to join our senior management team to manage all financial aspects of the organization.
As the Director of Finance you will:
● Oversee business operations which include setting up reporting systems, implementing internal controls and procedures, project evaluations and funding, cash flow management, payables/receivables, processes and policies.
● Responsible for the supervision, guidance and overall smooth operations of the accounting department.
● Manage relationships with external contacts such as accounting firms, law firms, banks, external auditors, insurers and realtors, government auditors, and communicate with the senior management team on any issues.
● Collaborate with the senior management team and review the procurement of assets and sales, construction and lease contracts.
● Responsible for accounting and reporting (internal and external) for all group affiliated companies.
● Prepare and analyze cash flow projections, budgets, and forecasts.
● Review calculations, procurement of assets and sales, construction & lease contracts.
● Responsible for year-end audits for a group of companies, internal controls and annual corporate budgets.
● Other duties as required.
Requirements:
● Professional designation in Accounting/Finance.
● 10-15 years of progressive financial responsibility and capital budgeting experience required.
● Strong management skills, ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
