Employment Type: Full-Time | Three-Month Performance-Based Trial Contract
Reports To: Operations Manager & Founder/Group CEO
Salary: CAD $2,500 – CAD $3,500 per month (Depending on qualifications, experience and demonstrated ability)

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and passionate Publishing Project Coordinator & Author Relations Coordinator to oversee the author experience and coordinate publishing projects from manuscript development through publication, promotion and distribution.
The successful candidate will serve as a key connection point between authors, internal teams and external partners, ensuring every project receives a professional Bethel Publishing House experience.
This role requires someone who understands the publishing industry, creative workflows and the importance of delivering excellence at every stage of the publishing journey.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAuthor Relations & Publishing Experience
The successful candidate will:
- Serve as the primary coordination contact for assigned authors after onboarding.
- Welcome authors into the Bethel publishing process.
- Collect required manuscripts, author information and project materials.
- Coordinate author meetings, updates and feedback.
- Ensure authors receive clear communication throughout the publishing journey.
- Build strong professional relationships with authors and clients.
Publishing Project Coordination
Coordinate the complete publishing process, including:
- Manuscript submission and development timelines.
- Editors and proofreading teams.
- Cover design and creative approvals.
- Book formatting and production.
- Printing schedules.
- Publishing platform preparation.
- Distribution planning.
- Book launch coordination.
Distribution & E-Commerce Coordination
Work closely with:
- Printing companies.
- Physical bookstores.
- Online bookstores.
- E-commerce platforms.
- Distribution partners.
Ensure books are:
- Properly prepared for distribution.
- Uploaded to approved platforms.
- Available through relevant sales channels.
- Supported by organised promotional activities.
Team & Supplier Coordination
Coordinate communication between:
- Authors.
- Editors.
- Graphic Designers.
- Web Developers.
- Marketing and Social Media Teams.
- Operations Team.
- External suppliers and partners.
Ensure all parties understand:
- Project responsibilities.
- Deadlines.
- Deliverables.
- Quality expectations.
Marketing & Promotion Coordination
Support coordination of:
- Book marketing campaigns.
- Promotional schedules.
- Author branding activities.
- Book launch activities.
- Sales tracking and reporting.
Media & Special Project Coordination
Support coordination of:
- Sisterhood Talkshow productions.
- 40 Days in the Wilderness programmes.
- Publishing events.
- Creative initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Publishing, Communications, Project Management, Business Administration, Media or a related field.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in publishing, project coordination, author relations, media or creative industries.
- Strong understanding or experience with:
- Book publishing processes.
- Editing workflows.
- Book production.
- Printing.
- Distribution.
- Digital publishing platforms.
- Marketing coordination.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
