Overview
Mifo is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and equipment to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work with heavy equipment and develop skills in commercial driving and vehicle maintenance.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport
- Ensure all freight is secured properly before transit to prevent damage during delivery
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and maps, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal vehicle performance
- Communicate with dispatch to confirm delivery schedules and report any issues or delays
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
Qualifications
- Valid standard driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred but not mandatory
