Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Skilled Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of construction and the use of hand and power tools. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with concrete forming.
- Measure and cut materials precisely for various construction applications.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating.
- Experience with carpentry, concrete finishing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, welding, and flooring installation.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for diverse construction tasks.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors.
