Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and supporting merchandising efforts to enhance the shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to facilitate informed purchasing decisions
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked and appealing
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts
- Uphold phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Support store merchandising strategies to enhance visual appeal and sales performance
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and product rotation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or related fields preferred
- Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities (English and another language) are a plus
- Familiarity with technology sales, product demos, and technical sales is advantageous
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Demonstrated ability to upsell and promote products confidently
- Knowledge of merchandising, cashiering, and retail operations preferred
- Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
