We are seeking a motivated Automotive Service Apprentice to join our dealership team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance, providing a valuable pathway to develop mechanical skills and industry knowledge. The role involves working closely with experienced technicians to learn the fundamentals of vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repair in a professional environment committed to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Assist with routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Support technicians in diagnosing and repairing automotive issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform repairs and assembly tasks
- Follow safety protocols when handling heavy lifting, power tools, and welding equipment
- Read and interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to aid in troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Learn proper use of automotive repair equipment and adhere to dealership standards
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers about vehicle status when appropriate
Requirements
- Prior dealership experience or mechanic experience is a required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work with physical endurance during long shifts
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for vehicle repairs

Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour

Experience:
- Auto Repair: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Minimum block 2 Auto Service Apprentice COMPLETED (required)
- Canadian PR, Not a work permit (required)
