Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are met consistently. Previous experience in hospitality, hotel cleaning, or custodial work is highly valued. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored properly after use
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to hotel or facility policies regarding confidentiality and guest privacy
- Assist with additional cleaning tasks during busy periods or special events as required
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning efficiently
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting issues promptly
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
