Security Guard - Nanaimo
Concord Security is looking for part-time and casual Security Guards to join our high profile Ports security site located in Nanaimo (Duke Point) for various shifts (overnights and afternoons) throughout the week. This position requires strong communication, social perceptiveness, and interpersonal skills, and excellent deportment.
Pay Rate: $23.29/hour
*** $500 HIRING BONUS! *** New team members hired between July 22, 2026 and August 31, 2026 will be eligible for a $500 hiring bonus.
Terms and conditions apply, and include a requirement to bid on a minimum of 3 shifts per week every week during that time period. This bonus will be paid in two installments ($250 upon completion of three months of work with Concord Security, and $250 upon completion of six months).
Please note that all employees for this job site must be able to obtain and maintain a federal Transportation Security Clearance
In this role, you will patrol the facility, ensure only authorized personnel access secure areas, address any hazards, write detailed incident reports, and more.

Are comfortable going through additional background checks to work in federally cleared job sites

Enjoy being active, including patrolling on foot outdoors, standing for extended periods, and getting in and out of a vehicle regularly
