Summary
We are seeking a skilled Swather Operator to join our team in. This role is vital in ensuring the timely harvesting of crops using advanced machinery. As part of our team, you will contribute to the success of local farming operations by operating swathing equipment with precision and care.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain swathing machinery to harvest crops efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform minor repairs on equipment.
- Collaborate with farm staff to coordinate harvesting schedules.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during operation.
- Monitor crop conditions and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Support other farm activities as needed.
- Qualifications
- Experience operating swathing or similar agricultural machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to farm equipment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Good communication skills.
- Prior experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
