Capilano Volkswagen is currently looking for a dependable individual for our part-time Sales Lot Attendant job position. The successful candidate must have a valid Class 5 BC driver's license and a clean driver's abstract. Familiarity and/or resident of the North Shore will be an asset. Candidate must have experience in operating both automatic and manual transmission vehicles; able to communicate clearly with customers and staff; must have a positive and outgoing personality; able to work independently; must be punctual and hard working.
As a Sales Lot Attendant, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Arrange and move vehicles throughout the dealership lot and showroom
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of vehicles and lot areas
- Wash, vacuum, fuel, and inspect vehicles as needed
- Prepare vehicles for customer deliveries and test drives
- Install stock tags, pricing information, and promotional materials
- Monitor inventory placement and report damaged or missing vehicles
- Shuttle vehicles between dealership locations, service departments, and storage lots
- Assist with snow removal, lot maintenance, and general housekeeping
- Support sales staff with customer vehicle retrieval and staging
- Follow dealership safety procedures and traffic guidelines
