The Opportunity
We are looking for qualified Roofing Labourers to assist on an active roofing project in Coquitlam, BC. This role involves supporting the crew by moving, lifting, and organizing materials such as insulation, drywall, and other construction supplies. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to ensure the site operates safely and efficiently.
This is a full time, ongoing position.
Job Duties
- Move, lift, and organize roofing and construction materials
- Assist skilled tradespeople as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all site safety rules and procedures
- Follow instructions provided during orientations and on site
Requirements
- Fall Protection certification (required)
- Personal Protective Equipment including hard hat, high-visibility vest, steel-toe boots, safety glasses and gloves
- Physically capable of lifting and moving materials safely
- Previous roofing or construction experience is an asset
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
