Our client, a leading utility contractor based in Vaughan, is seeking a Junior Estimator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or junior professional looking to build a career in construction and estimating.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates for utility construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Work with Project Managers, Engineers, and Construction teams
- Assist with project budgets and subcontractor pricing
- Support estimating activities using software and Microsoft Office tools
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Construction, utility, or estimating experience is an asset but not required
- Motivated to learn and grow within the industry
