Haida Tourism is seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Support Worker to help maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of our lodge, cabins and grounds at Haida House. If you enjoy hands-on work, being outdoors, and contributing to a team that delivers exceptional guest experiences, we’d love to hear from you, experience an asset but not a requirement
What You’ll Do:
Maintain lodge grounds through gardening, landscaping, and pressure washing
Perform general repairs and upkeep of buildings, tools, and equipment
Assist with maintenance of water systems, machinery, radios, and other assets
Support preventative maintenance programs to keep operations running smoothly
Help carry out maintenance tasks alongside team members under the Maintenance Coordinators direction
Always conducting yourself in safe work procedures and equipment operations
What You Bring:
A valid Class 5 driver’s license
Hands-on skills and a willingness to learn new tasks
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Comfort working in a physically active outdoor environment, must be able to lift at least 50lbs
A strong commitment to safety and following procedures
Positive attitude and reliability
Valid First Aid would be considered an asset
Construction experience not necessary but would be considered an asset
