Position Overview:
The General Carpenter plays a key role across the full construction process – from reading plans and forming footings to framing and completing interior and exterior finishes. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship and enjoys working in a dynamic, waterfront environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Travel by boat to job sites, including island locations
- Read and interpret construction drawings and plans
- Build forms and complete footings
- Frame floors, walls, and roofs
- Install trusses and rafters
- Complete interior and exterior finishing work
- Perform roofing work
- Build decks, stairs, walkways, and railings
- Construct and repair docks
- Complete general cottage maintenance tasks
Qualifications:

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Comfort working in close proximity to water
Requirements:
· Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence
· Valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
