Job Description:
Our growing company is seeking a professional and reliable Concierge / Front Desk Representative for a fast-paced condominium community in Downtown Waterloo. This position requires availability every Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for residents, guests, vendors, and contractors, and must consistently maintain a polished and professional presence.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism at all times and has proven experience de-escalating situations involving upset or distressed individuals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning property management software systems are essential. Strong multitasking abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Professional attire is mandatory; branded accessories may be provided.
Responsibilities:
The Concierge provides exceptional customer service while managing front desk and administrative duties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responding to emails and telephone calls, and directing non-urgent matters to the building portal.
- Ensuring residents and guests comply with building rules and policies.
- Monitoring security cameras and assisting with incident investigations through footage and log reviews.
- Preparing detailed incident reports for Property Management.
- Booking and coordinating amenity spaces, guest suites, and moving elevators.
- Checking guests in and out of guest suites and maintaining accurate booking records.
- Inspecting amenity rooms, guest suites, and elevators before and after each booking.
- Reporting security concerns or property damage to the Property Manager and documenting issues in building systems.
- Ability to assist unclogging the garbage chute or moving around compactor garbage bins an asset.
Working Conditions:
Must be available every Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. As well as 8:00am to 4:00pm on statutory holidays (except for Christmas Day)

- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a high-level customer service environment
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Google applications, and general technology use)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Calm, composed, and professional demeanor
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to follow schedules and checklists
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Salary:
Starting at $22.50 per hour.
