Overview
We are seeking a skilled Window Covering Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling high-quality window treatments and coverings with precision and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with various tools and equipment, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills within the manufacturing and construction sectors.
Duties
- Assemble window coverings such as roller shades and zebra shades
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble components
- Follow safety protocols during assembly processes and while operating machinery
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and ensure all components meet design requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve assembly processes
Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environments preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or background in machining, welding, or assembly is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is beneficial
- Experience working with warehouse equipment such as forklifts is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to manufacturing or construction work
- Ability to read technical drawings or schematics is advantageous but not required
This role requires a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Candidates should be comfortable working with various tools and machinery in a dynamic environment.
