Breka Bakery & Cafe is a local family business born in 2006 within the vibrant Vancouver neighborhood of Sunset. Regularly voted among Vancouver’s best bakeries and cafes, it boasts a wide range of high-quality and reasonably priced offerings including coffee, breads, donuts, pastries, sandwiches, cakes, cookies, and more. And the best part? We're open 24/7, 365 days a year! You can find us at our existing seven locations spread across Fraser St, Bute St, Davie St, W 4th Ave, Denman St, Main St, and W Hastings St. Additionally, our latest addition, SUNRISE on E Hastings St, joining our family of eight locations.
SHIFTS & HOURS
Part-time 20-24 hrs/week
- Minimum 3 shifts required per week for Part-Time
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- OPEN AVAILABILITY IS PREFERRED!
JOB DESCRIPTION
-Tidy customer seating area
-Available to work weekends and holidays
-Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes
-Clean, organize, and restock dishware and cookware
-Maintain a clean work environment by sweeping, mopping, and performing other cleaning duties
-Ensure garbage and recycling removal is consistent with health and safety standards
REQUIREMENTS

-Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
-A strong work ethic and reliability
-Dependable in attending all scheduled shifts
-Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not necessary
-A positive attitude and a team player
COMPENSATION
- Starting wage is $19.50 per hour
- 4 months probational period, and performance review every 3 months
- Health benefits are available after Completing probational period.
