Job Summary
We are seeking a high energy results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team and grow our cold chain and pharmaceutical logistics portfolio. In this role you will secure high value accounts by aligning our customized transport solutions with the complex supply chain needs of biotech, life sciences and clinical research clients. This is Hunter" role requiring strategic outbound prospecting, senior stakeholder engagement and contract negotiation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, project management, and customer relationship management.
Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in domestic and international markets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and partners
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new partnerships
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
- Prepare presentations and proposals for potential clients, showcasing our services
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong understanding of international shipping and logistics is a plus
- Preferred logistics sales experience, minimum 3-5 years of proven sucess in B2B enterprise sales, specifically in Next Flight Out, Freight Forwarding and or clinical services
- Firm understanding of temperature controlled shipping
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools for managing customer interactions and sales processes
- Proven track record in business development with a focus on building lasting client relationships
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
