Position Title: Warehouse Supervisor Overnight
Location: 75 Green Court, Ajax, ON
Reports To: Operations Manager

Salary: $55,000 - $57,000
About the Role
The Warehouse Supervisor at Olympic Wholesale is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including team leadership, inventory control, food safety compliance, and logistics coordination. This role ensures that products are handled, stored, and shipped efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with all regulatory and internal standards.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and organized leader with a strong background in food distribution, warehouse operations, and employee supervision. You will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.
Key Duties/ Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
- Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO)
- Enforce standard operating procedures and implement process improvements to drive efficiency
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety protocols, and Ministry of Labour (MOL) requirements
- Coordinate dispatching and routing of local delivery routes in collaboration with transportation staff
- Work closely with supply chain, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment
- Address and resolve internal and external issues related to warehouse operations and customer orders
- Oversee completion of weekly payroll for warehouse employees
- Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the warehouse environment
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Food Science is preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in a food distribution, food service, or cold chain warehouse environment
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics setting
- Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and warehouse safety standards
- Experience with HACCP compliance and food handling best practices
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a unionized environment
- Familiarity with dispatch and transportation logistics
