The Camp Volunteer will support the Lead Instructor in managing a coding classroom for children aged 6 to 14. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and technology, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills to help maintain a focused, supportive, and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Management:
- Assist in maintaining a positive and organized classroom environment.
- Help students stay focused on their lessons and tasks.
- Encourage and motivate students to participate and engage in class activities.
Support Instruction:
- Aid the Lead Instructor during lessons by providing additional support to students.
- Help clarify instructions and provide one-on-one assistance as needed.
- Facilitate group activities and discussions to enhance learning.
Student Assistance:
- Respond to individual student needs, including academic, personal, and behavioral concerns.
- Assist students with personal needs, such as bathroom breaks, ensuring they return promptly and safely.
- Monitor and support students as they enter and exit the classroom, ensuring safety and order.
Administrative Support:
- Prepare and organize classroom materials and resources.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining technology and equipment used in lessons.
- Record attendance and keep track of student progress and behavior.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or currently pursuing the degree
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with children.
