Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Court Monitor to uphold the integrity and safety of court proceedings. Responsibilities
- Maintain order and decorum within the courtroom by monitoring participant behavior and enforcing courtroom rules.
- Assist in managing courtroom logistics, including seating arrangements and movement of individuals during proceedings.
- Provide clear and confident public speaking to communicate instructions or information to court participants and visitors.
- Offer excellent customer service by addressing questions from the public, visitors, or court staff with professionalism and courtesy.
- Handle guest services responsibilities such as guiding visitors, ensuring security protocols are followed, and providing directions within the courthouse.
- Support cash handling procedures when necessary for fines or fees collection, adhering to proper protocols.
- Ensure a safe environment by conducting security checks and collaborating with security personnel when required.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or in environments involving youth is highly desirable.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in diverse situations.
- Customer service or guest services experience that demonstrates professionalism and a helpful attitude.
- Experience with cash handling or food service is a plus, showcasing reliability in managing transactions or service operations.
- Background in hospitality or related fields that emphasizes attentiveness to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
