Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mandarin-speaking Forklift Driver specializing in Order Picking and Cherry Picking within a dynamic warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will operate various types of forklifts, including cherry pickers and order pickers, to efficiently manage inventory and fulfill order requirements. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to safety, and the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting with a focus on warehouse distribution and management systems.
Duties
- Safely operate forklift equipment such as order pickers, cherry pickers to retrieve and store inventory.
- Perform accurate order picking using warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure correct items are selected for shipment.
- Assist with inventory management by organizing stock, verifying quantities, and maintaining accurate records.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members in Mandarin to coordinate tasks and ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety standards throughout all activities.
Experience
- Previous experience operating warehouse forklifts, including order pickers, cherry pickers is required.
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and inventory management systems (WMS).
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Experience in order picking within a warehouse setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in physically demanding environments.
- Fluency in Mandarin is required for effective communication with team members and supervisors.
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
