Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sign and Vinyl Wrap/Decal Installer Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves applying high-quality decals, wraps, and signage to vehicles, storefronts, and various surfaces. Wage will depend on experience, will to train someone with a similar background.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong manual dexterity, and experience working with automotive or signage applications, construction, or a printing background.
This position offers an opportunity to work in a creative environment with a focus on precision and craftsmanship in a family style environment.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and prepare vinyl materials, aluminum composite, plastics and aluminum using hand tools and power tools for various installation projects
- Apply decals, wraps, and signage to vehicles, windows, walls, and other surfaces with accuracy and attention to detail
- Remove old decals or wraps safely without damaging the surface
- Ensure all installations meet quality standards and client specifications
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot installation issues and adapt techniques as needed
- Operate genie lift when necessary to handle large or higher materials
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency during projects
- Shop clean up as needed
Skills
- Experience using various saws and tools
- Experience with vinyl wrapping, decal application, or signage installation preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for large or bulky materials
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for precision in measurements and application
- Good manual dexterity and steady hand for detailed work on curved or complex surfaces
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
