The Program Coordinator (Course-Based Programs) provides program coordination and leadership for the course-based programs in the Faculty by supporting the effective functioning and execution of these graduate programs. The role will be responsible for the supervision, leadership, guidance, and coaching support to the Graduate Affairs Assistant(s) on the team, and will manage vacation, attendance, work assignments and annual reviews.
The Program Coordinator will primarily support the execution of Capstone/Dissertation in Practice projects, as part of the course-based programs, ensuring that deadlines are met and students are onboarded in an efficient manner. The Program Coordinator will liaise with students, mentors and external partners to ensure administrative processes, memorandums of understanding and student / project placement requirements are in place.
Working closely with the Assistant Dean/ Graduate Chairs, Field Leaders and Faculty Leaders, and the Program Coordinator will support the program goals and objectives including ensuring effective student recruitment processes are in place, liaising and supporting students through the program milestones and supporting faculty and instructors through the program delivery, including organizational support for residencies, research conferences and other associated events.
