Journeyman or Apprentice Heavy Equipment / Automotive Mechanic
Scott Hhydro-Vac Ltd. is currently hiring a Journeyman or Registered Apprentice Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of our Hydro-Vac, Combo-Vac, Straight-Vac and Water truck equipment. This is a full-time position offering steady work and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Hydro-Vac equipment, Combo & Water truck equipment and support trucks.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Complete work safely and in accordance with company and provincial safety standards
- Provide field service support as required
Qualifications
- Red Seal Journeyman or Registered Apprentice in one of the following trades:
- Heavy Equipment Technician
- Automotive Service Technician
- Truck and Transport Mechanic
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (minimum)
- Previous experience with Hydro-Vac equipment, diesel engines, hydraulics, or fleet maintenance is considered an asset
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime, on-call, and weekends as required

Work Schedule & Location
- Monday to Friday

- Work performed in the shop and in the field (“on the road”)
