We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing frameworks for buildings and structures, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, concrete forming, and carpentry principles. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Construct and install frameworks using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed.
- Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks to create durable foundations and structures.
- Install siding, framing components, and other building materials with precision.
- Operate heavy machinery safely to assist with large-scale construction tasks.
- Utilize welding skills when necessary to join metal components securely.
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris appropriately.
Experience
- Proven experience in framing, carpentry, or related construction roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, concrete forming, and woodworking techniques is essential.
- Experience operating power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of concrete finishing processes and siding installation is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding environments.
