Responsibilities
Assist licensed electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems using hand tools and power tools.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support accurate wiring and system setup.
Handle low voltage wiring tasks for control panels, communication systems, or security systems under supervision.
Prepare work sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety barriers to ensure a secure working environment.
Utilize construction experience to assist with site cleanup, material handling, and equipment setup.
Follow all safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Support the troubleshooting process by identifying issues with electrical components and assisting in repairs or replacements.
Experience
Previous experience working as an electrical helper or apprentice in industrial or construction settings is highly desirable.
Familiarity with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and drills is essential.
Experience reading schematics, blueprints, or technical diagrams will help you succeed in this role.
Knowledge of low voltage systems and basic electrical theory is a plus.
Construction experience involving electrical installations or maintenance provides a strong foundation for this position.
Demonstrated ability to work safely in active construction environments is required.
