Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Dutch Bros. VAPES Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily operations at our store location. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring sales targets are met, maintaining store standards, and implementing marketing strategies to enhance the customer experience. Prior retail management experience are highly valued to support diverse customer needs and team development.
Duties
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality customer service
- Manage team members through recruiting, training, coaching, and developing staff to achieve performance goals
- Oversee merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory purchasing to maximize sales and profitability
- Handle POS transactions, cash handling, bookkeeping, and payroll processing with accuracy and integrity
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to increase store visibility and customer engagement
- Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and develop action plans to meet or exceed targets
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, reinforce policies, and foster a positive team environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies
- Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and record keeping
- Maintain excellent communication with customers to resolve issues promptly and ensure satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven supervisory or retail management experience with strong leadership capabilities
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and basic math skills
- Experience in merchandising, pricing strategies, purchasing, and marketing within a retail environment
- Ability to recruit, train, develop staff, and oversee team management functions
- Knowledge of payroll processing and administrative procedures related to retail operations
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette approach
- Demonstrated ability in sales management, store management, budgeting, and training & development
- Multilingual skills are advantageous for engaging with a diverse customer base
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
