Job Overview
Elaichi Patisserie which makes Indian Inspired French pastries launched at Vancouver farmers markets in 2023 and has grown into a multi-channel artisan brand with a loyal community that keeps coming back for our Indian-inspired French pastries. We make everything from scratch, with obsessive attention to quality and technique.
Now, we're opening our first brick-and-mortar café at Main Street in Mount Pleasant neighbourhood and we're looking for the right person to help our vision of Beverage program bring to life, one beautiful morning at a time. We are a small, woman-owned business built on quality, intention, and genuine community. We're looking for someone who leads with the same energy. Yes there will be chaos! And we are looking for someone who looks at this job as more than a job and has the ability to establish processes and systems in chaos.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, community-first environment. You'll be the face of our café owning the front-of-house experience, keeping operations tight, establishing processes & beverage program and stepping in wherever the team needs you.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service flow, maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction, and fostering a welcoming environment for all guests.
From coaching team members and running great service to fine-tuning our coffee program and building a strong team culture, you're here to help others level up, while making sure every guest leaves feeling amazing and connected to our bakery. You'll delegate tasks, build momentum, encourage open communication, and create a space where people genuinely want to show up.
We're building something exciting here and we're looking for someone ready to bring all their experience, curiosity, and drive into a space that's still fresh, full of potential and challenges of a mom & pop shop.
