Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Sourcing Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for international sourcing of agricultural and seafood products, supplier development and management, procurement negotiations, and import/export coordination. The ideal candidate will have experience in international trade, a strong understanding of import/export operations, excellent negotiation skills, market insight, and the ability to identify new business opportunities while building an efficient and reliable supply chain.
Duties
- Source agricultural products and seafood products, conduct supplier evaluations, negotiate pricing, and manage contracts.
- Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and business partners.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
- Support business development initiatives and market expansion efforts.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of import/export procedures and international trade operations.
- Experience in agricultural products and/or seafood sourcing is highly preferred.
- Local Canadian trading or import/export experience is an asset.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Fluency in English; a second language is preferred.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
