Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Insulation Installer to join our construction team. This role involves installing various types of insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings to improve energy efficiency and comfort. The ideal candidate will have experience with hand tools, caulking, blueprint reading, and construction practices. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about construction work and looking to develop their skills in the building industry.
Responsibilities
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit designated spaces according to blueprints and project specifications
- Install insulation in walls, ceilings, floors, and attics using appropriate tools and techniques
- Use hand tools such as knives, staplers, and drills to secure insulation properly
- Apply caulking around windows, doors, and other openings to ensure airtight seals
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine installation requirements
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris appropriately
- Assist with other construction tasks as needed to support project completion
Requirements
- Proven experience with caulking, hand tools, and insulation installation preferred
- Knowledge of construction practices and safety protocols on job sites
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding
- Reliable transportation or access to job sites; valid driver’s license is a plus
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is desirable but not mandatory
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and adhere to safety guidelines at all times
Pay: $21.00 per hour
