Established practice seeking Level II Chairside Dental Assistant for Mon-Thur with occasional Fri. You love working with children and possess excellent communication skills (computer literate!). You are reliable, cheerful, a fast learner, and work well under pressure. We are a small office with a family atmosphere and the "right fit" is important. Requirements:
- Experience in dentistry preferred BUT willing to train newcomers as long as constructive criticism accepted and improvement demonstrated
- Dental software proficiency (Dentrix) and computer literacy essential
- Current HARP+CDA II cert., PHO Reprocessing, CPR, WHMIS cert. up-to-date and can take digital X-rays using sensor and/or phosphor plate systems
- Compliance/respect for current Infection Control Guidelines (IPAC cert., PHO reprocessing), awareness of cross contamination issues, help keep office clean!
- *Must follow all safety protocols in a healthcare setting and be able to confidently enforce them without complaining (must be vaccinated <COVID and influenza> and wear a mask properly!)*
- Work hours 8a-5p and occasional early mornings
- Be available to work during "busy" seasons
- 3 References (MUST be from Doctors)
