Acumen Logistics is a growing logistics and supply chain company dedicated to providing efficient warehousing and distribution solutions. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Associate to support our inventory and warehouse administration functions.
Position Summary
This position is primarily office-based and focuses on inventory control, warehouse administration, and Warehouse Management System (WMS) operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, processing warehouse transactions, and ensuring inventory data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily inventory transactions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Process receiving, shipping, transfer, and adjustment transactions accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies.
- Perform inventory reconciliations and support cycle count processes.
- Generate inventory, receiving, shipping, and operational reports.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure system transactions are completed correctly.
- Review and verify shipping and receiving paperwork.
- Process customer orders and inventory movements within the WMS.
- Communicate with internal teams regarding inventory status and operational requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Assist management with inventory analysis and reporting as required.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Strong inventory management and inventory control experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution operations.
- Knowledge of inventory reconciliation and cycle count processes.
- Experience working with ERP or inventory management software.
