Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Carpenters Helper to assist skilled carpenters in various construction and renovation projects. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry trade while supporting a wide range of building activities. Duties
- Support concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work as needed
- Assist in various demolition and site cleanup tasks
- Aid in cabinet installation, flooring, tile laying, and siding projects
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Perform construction painting, caulking, etc
- Help with woodworking, assembly, and general carpentry tasks on-site
- Conduct heavy lifting and assist with material handling across job sites
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Skills
- Experience with concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, or restoration projects is desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools and woodworking techniques
- Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor consistently
- Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
- Handyman experience or background in manufacturing is beneficial
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
