Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide high-quality care to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role involves supporting clients in their homes or care facilities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for caregiving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a caring and respectful approach. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe living environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to prevent injury
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare providers or family members
- Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia care or working with individuals with disabilities
- Follow care plans and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings is preferred
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, medication administration, and working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work independently while demonstrating reliability and professionalism
- Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and perform household tasks as needed
- Flexibility to adapt to different client needs and care environments

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
