Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Technician to join our team. No experience necessary - we will provide extensive training in all of our operations, repairs, sales, leadership, and long term career development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and outdoor maintenance, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A positive attitude is a must. This role involves various tasks related to lawn care, landscape maintenance, and irrigation systems, ensuring that our clients' outdoor spaces are healthy and aesthetically pleasing. All of our employees are fully uniformed and drive properly labelled company trucks.
This is an entry level position, open to anybody wanting to learn. It will begin as part-time, with the option to grow to full time in the near future. Duties
- Perform routine lawn care tasks such as fertilizing, mowing, edging, and trimming, dethatching, aerating, seeding, rolling, and installation of new lawns from soil to mature lawn. You will be incentivized to politely "upsell" projects to clients, and to do some door-to-door sales (this is a requirement in the early months of the season).
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
- Build and maintain garden beds, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Dig holes for planting and repair irrigation systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of lawns and landscapes to identify issues such as pests or diseases, recommend solutions to customers.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and basic repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to complete landscape projects efficiently. We will install new lawns, perform aerations, dethatching, weed garden beds, spread mulch, and treat lawn pests.
Requirements
- A positive attitude.
- Experience in garden maintenance or landscaping is preferred.
- Class 5 drivers license. You must be able to drive our trucks.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including digging and lifting. (Up to 50lbs)
- Ability to work both in teams and unsupervised as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Pay: $23.50-$26.00 per hour
