Penny Lane Property Management Ltd. is growing, and we are searching for the next Strata Manager to join our team. We will provide training for the right candidate, and support you while you pursue your Strata Manager license. A Strata Property Manager is responsible for managing and organizing existing Strata properties and their strata councils.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
As a Strata Manager, you learn to be responsible for relationship management with your strata council clients, handle day-to-day operational, maintenance, administrative, and financial management for the properties within your portfolio. Responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:
- Managing a portfolio of residential strata complexes
- Prioritizing and conducting the business and projects generated by the portfolio in a timely manner
- Managing projects, emergencies, contracts and contractors as generated by the portfolio in a timely manner
- Creating meeting agendas, conducting meetings (some evening meetings required), and following up with accurate minutes
- Administering financial matters of the portfolio including budgeting, analyzing expenses, and reviewing and coding invoices
Requirements
- A valid Strata Property Management License or commitment to obtaining one as soon as possible
- A positive and enthusiastic, hands-on approach and be driven by delivering exceptional client service
- Ability to multi-task, balance multiple priorities and meet precise deadlines and manage clients’ expectations
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travelling to meetings at the buildings in your portfolio
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Sound knowledge of financial and budget reviews, and insurance policies relating to strata corporation
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year, experience dependant
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift (one hour lunch)
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional on-call shifts
