Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves various tasks related to the upkeep and enhancement of outdoor spaces, ensuring they are both beautiful and functional.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Build and install garden beds, pathways, and other landscape features.
- Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to promote healthy growth.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping tasks.
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers while ensuring proper soil preparation.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition by performing routine checks and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to client satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment.
- Experience in garden design and plant care is a plus.
- Proficient in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners as well as power tools like lawnmowers and trimmers.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality work in landscape aesthetics.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
