Job Overview:
As a Warehouse Associate/Inventory at our health food restaurant, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, and tracking all incoming ingredients, supplies, and packaging materials. You will ensure that our kitchen and prep teams have the fresh, high-quality products they need to prepare meals for our customers.
Responsibilities:
Receiving & Inspection:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of fresh produce, proteins, dry goods, dairy, beverages, and packaging supplies.
- Verify incoming orders against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Check for damaged, expired, or spoiled products; document and report discrepancies to management immediately.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all food ingredients, beverages, and supplies.
- Monitor stock levels of fast-moving items (fresh produce, greens, proteins, popular ingredients) and notify management when reordering is necessary.
Quality Control
- Inspect all perishable items for freshness, ripeness, and quality before accepting into inventory.
- Remove any expired, spoiled, or damaged products from inventory immediately and document waste.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Basic math skills for counting and recording inventory.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow directions from supervisors.
Pay: $21.79-$25.73 per hour
