TR Transport Inc. hauls and manages proppant (sand) for multiple fracking service companies across Alberta and BC and are currently expanding our frac sand storage and logistics department. We are looking to fill Sand Logistics positions based out of Bentley, AB.
TR Transport is looking for Logistics personnel that have the following skills:
- Working knowledge of hydraulic fracking industry in AB and BC
- Computer use including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Teams including experience manipulating and correcting Excel formulas
- Starlink satellite setup and troubleshooting
- Data entry, including speed and accuracy
- Clear and concise communication over the phone, text, email and two-way radios
- Confidence in running Teams meetings daily numerous participants to provide updates on past and projected deliveries
- Multitasking with multiple radios, computer screens, webcams and other computer accessories
- Knowledge of heavy trucks, oilfield and logging road procedures and how to assist in the event of accidents, breakdowns and spin outs
- Ability to read the road conditions for chain up requirements and identify potential safety concerns such as blind corners, hills, tight areas, chain up and staging areas
- Able to work well with others, including contract drivers and third-party contractors
- Confidence in communication with client Site Representative, Frac Supervisors, security personnel, dispatchers, truck drivers and safety personnel
- Able to work away from home for the entire duration of the shift
- Adept at pulling a trailer with a pickup truck, including backing up and driving on gravel roads
Must have requirements:
- Class 5 drivers license and clean driving abstract
- H2S Alive
- First Aid
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
As this is a safety-sensitive position all Logistics personnel must participate in pre-employment testing including A & D testing, health assessment and silica screening.
Pay will be based on experience and knowledge.
